Fortinet-kwetsbaarheden worden vaak als zero-day misbruikt door APT’s en ransomwaregroepen.[1]

Andere opvallende dreigingen

Cisco AsyncOS (CVE-2025-20393) wordt sinds eind november 2025 intensief aangevallen door een vermoedelijk Chinese APT-groep (UAT-9686), met inzet van backdoors zoals AquaShell. WatchGuard Firebox-firewalls zijn kwetsbaar voor een nieuwe RCE (CVE-2025-9242), met meer dan 75.000 blootgestelde systemen gedetecteerd. Deze incidenten missen een publicatiedatum van exact vandaag, maar tonen aanhoudende high-impact risico’s.[2][3]

NIS2-regelgeving update

Nederland voert de NIS2-richtlijn pas in het derde kwartaal 2025 in, een jaar later dan de EU-deadline van 17 oktober 2024, waardoor essentiële entiteiten nog geen verplichtingen hebben. De richtlijn breidt scope uit naar meer sectoren zoals energie en gezondheidszorg, met strengere rapportage-eisen. Tot invoering geen toezicht mogelijk door de Nederlandse toezichthouder.[4]
